According to the statistics office of Turkey, Iranians bought a total of 3,652 civilian units in Turkey in 2018. Legislators’ changes regarding the possibility of obtaining citizenship of the country in exchange for buying property along with the campaigns that were implemented by real estate development companies and banks simultaneously with changes in the exchange rate of the country, has created this record of buying property among Iranians and some citizens of other countries. Projections suggest an increase in this trend in 2019.
